Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This directive requires owners/operators of Eurocopter (Airbus) SA 365C/C1/C2/C3/N helicopters to inspect a specific engine fuel pipe (P/N 0301037030) for interference and, if needed, fit a protective spiral sheath (P/N 84904T075 or equivalent) per Bureau Veritas AD 87-008-028(B).

It must be inspected before further flight and the sheath fitted within 50 flight hours; operators bear costs. The measure prevents a manufacturer‑reported fuel‑leak risk from pipe/sheath interference.
