Plain English Summary

6/10 complexity

This amendment replaces the earlier Airworthiness Directive for Rolls‑Royce Dart engines and requires operators to follow the actions set out in the German (LBA) Airworthiness Directive 2002‑365. It mandates fuel‑burner flow calibration checks, repetitive inspections and life‑limitation measures to address fuel‑burner flow variations that cause vibration and can damage high‑pressure turbine discs. Operators must carry out the inspections and any required part replacements; the Civil Aviation Safety Authority enforces compliance (Requirement; Background).
