Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

The Directive requires operators and maintenance organisations for Rolls Royce Dart engines to inspect all installed and spare low-torque switches per Rolls Royce Service Bulletin Da61-13 and remove any unapproved units by 30 June 1997 (effective 22 May 1997). It targets operators, owners, maintainers and spare-part suppliers to mitigate a manufacturer-reported risk that unapproved switches could interfere with autofeather system activation.
