Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This mandatory Civil Aviation Safety Authority airworthiness directive requires maintenance organisations to inspect or modify compressor stator vanes on General Electric CT58-100-1 and CT58-110-1 turbine engines before those engines can be installed following a complete service overhaul performed after 8 March 1968.

Compliance must follow General Electric Service Bulletin (CT 58) 72-108 or the alternative directive AD/GE-T/8 to prevent vane-related engine failures and maintain flight safety.
