Requires owners/operators of Pacific Aerospace Cresco Model 08-600 aeroplanes fitted with aluminium fin forward attachment fitting PN 243017-2 to perform recurring inspections of that fitting and adjacent structure and to replace the aluminium fitting with steel PN 243017-3. CASA says the measure responds to a reported fitting failure; it sets short inspection intervals until replacement and requires immediate replacement before further flight if cracking or corrosion is found.
