Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This AD mandates modification (per Canadair Alert SB A600‑0084) of specified horizontal stabiliser pitch‑trim actuators on Bombardier CL‑600 Challengers before issuance of an Australian Certificate of Airworthiness. It targets suspected loose motor‑drive gear pinions that could damage internal control wiring. Aircraft owners/applicants (or their maintenance providers) must obtain and carry out the SB work at their cost; the AD cross‑references Canadian AD CF‑82‑05.
