This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of Bombardier CL-600-2B19 regional jets (serials 7003–7573) to inspect flight-data and cockpit-voice recorder dust covers for a chemical-agent-resistant coating and, before 28 June 2003, either rework or replace covers to the “CLR CTD” specification following Bombardier service bulletins. It affects aircraft operators and maintenance organisations, who must carry out inspections, parts replacement or rework and bear the associated labour and parts costs.
