Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This AD requires operators of Bombardier CL‑600 aircraft (serials 1024–1075) to inspect passenger door interior/exterior handles and latch mechanisms and modify any incorrect rigging per Canadair Challenger Alert SB A600‑0203. Compliance is mandated within 50 hours TIS after 31 March 1983.

The Civil Aviation Safety Authority issued the requirement; operators bear the cost and scheduling burden, creating an immediate maintenance obligation to avoid regulatory enforcement.
