Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This airworthiness directive requires operators of certain Bombardier CL‑600 (Challenger) aeroplanes to perform the maintenance actions specified in two Canadair service bulletins to inspect/repair the ADG electrical output harness. It was issued after chafing and shorting incidents that disabled the ADG. Owners/operators must fund and schedule the mandated work within the short (25‑hour) and medium (600‑hour) compliance windows to avoid loss of essential electrical power.
