Plain English Summary

4/10 complexity

This AD applies to GE CJ610‑1/‑4/‑5/‑6 engines fitted with stage‑2 turbine wheel P/N 646C596P1 and requires affected operators to comply with the actions set out in one of the referenced technical documents (GE Alert SB A72‑80 Addendum No.1; FAA AD 73‑23‑5; or AD/GE‑T/28).

It matters because the regulator mandates compliance by reference: operators/owners must obtain and follow the listed documents, bearing the inspection/repair costs and scheduling impacts, while maintenance providers supply the required work.
