Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

Owners and operators of American Champion Models 7ECA, 7GCAA, 7GCBC and 7GCB must install the rudder-pedal guard as specified in Champion Service Letter No. 73. The directive delegates the technical steps to that service letter and places compliance responsibility on the aircraft owner/operator.

Work had to be completed before 1 September 1971; failure to comply risks regulatory enforcement under the applicable Airworthiness Directives framework.
