Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This directive mandates a Cessna-prescribed modification to the thrust reverser throttle load limiter on specified Cessna 560 (Citation V) airframes (unit nos. -071A, -092A, -109A and -0001 to -0118), to be completed within 150 flight hours after 24 June 1993. Prompted by an incident where limiter movement caused loss of power control, the rule requires operators to arrange and fund the SB‑560‑78‑02 procedure; CASA enforces compliance, creating a fixed maintenance cost and scheduling obligation.
