Plain English Summary

This AD mandates owners/operators of specific serial-numbered Cessna 402C, 414A, 421C, and 425 aircraft to inspect and modify the aileron-yoke mounting bracket where elongated/enlarged holes can cause loss of flight control. Compliance must follow Cessna Service Information Letter ME82-57 (402C/414A/421C) or PJ82-42 (425) within 200 flight hours after April 30, 1983. It’s a mandatory safety requirement to prevent possible in-flight control failure.
