Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This directive requires owners/operators of specified Cessna 425 Conquest I serial numbers to perform urgent inspections and eventual replacement of the up elevator stop bolt because a loose or shifted bolt could restrict pitch control and risk loss of control.

Inspect the bolt before the next flight and every 25 flight hours until you install the improved bolt per Cessna Service Letter SL PJ 81-8, with replacement due within 300 flight hours from 7 October 1981.
