Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

Owners/operators of certain Cessna 402B and 414 aircraft fitted with wing‑locker auxiliary fuel tanks must have a mechanic drill a small vent hole in the tank filler cap. Required within 100 flight hours after Nov 30, 1979, the modification prevents pressure‑driven fuel siphoning that can cause leaks, fire hazards, and unexpected fuel loss.
