Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

What this is: A mandatory safety order (called an Airworthiness Directive) requiring owners of specific Cessna aircraft to modify the engine support beam.

Who it affects: Owners and operators of Cessna 411 and 411A model aircraft with serial numbers up to 411-0254 that are fitted with unfeathering accumulators (devices that help restart an engine if it stops during flight).

What must be done: The engine support beam must be modified according to Cessna Service Letter No. 67-34. This must be done within 50 hours of flight time after 30 November 1967.

Why it matters: This ensures the engine support structure meets safety standards and prevents potential structural failures that could affect flight safety.
