Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This airworthiness directive requires operators of specified Cessna 400-series aeroplanes that have not incorporated Cessna Service Letter ME69-16 to install three specific placards in full view of the pilot (near the fuel gauge, manifold pressure gauge and airspeed indicator) and to modify main fuel tanks per SL ME69-16 unless already done. Placards must be fitted immediately; the tank modification is required by the deadline. Operators make and certify placard installations; placards may be removed after the modification is completed (Requirements 1(a)–(c), 2; Notes 1–2; Compliance).
