AD/CESSNA 340/1 - Fuel Pressure Regulator Fitting - Inspection - CANCELLED

This document cancels an old aviation safety rule that applied to Cessna 340 aircraft.

What it was: An Airworthiness Directive (AD) is a mandatory safety instruction issued by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority. This particular directive (first issued in 1972) required owners to inspect the fuel pressure regulator fitting — specifically a T-piece — to make sure the threaded sections were long enough. Short threads could potentially cause fuel leaks.
