Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

What this is: A safety order (called an Airworthiness Directive) requiring owners of certain Cessna 337 aircraft to replace a specific fuel line.

Who it affects: Owners and operators of Cessna 337 series aeroplanes with serial numbers below 337-0638 (early production models).

What it requires: Replace the forward engine's main fuel line (part number 1500106-142) that runs between the fuel filter and the firewall at Station 65. The replacement must be an approved fire-resistant line.

Why it matters: The original fuel line posed a fire hazard. This directive mandates a safer, fire-resistant replacement to reduce the risk of engine fires.

Compliance: The replacement had to be completed before 31 May 1965.
