AD/CESSNA 310/27 - Front Seat Restraint Installations - Modification - CANCELLED

This document officially cancels an older airworthiness directive that previously required owners of Cessna 310 aircraft to install upper torso restraints (shoulder harnesses) in the front seats of planes built before 1967.

Key points:

• What it does: Revokes the 1971 directive requiring shoulder harness modifications for these specific aircraft.
• Why: The requirements have been moved to a broader, updated directive (AD/GENERAL/74 Amendment 1) that consolidates safety standards across multiple aircraft types.
• Who it affects: Owners and operators of Cessna 310 series aircraft who were previously subject to the 1971 rule.
• Effective date: The cancellation took effect on 17 January 2008.

This is essentially a housekeeping measure to remove outdated aircraft-specific rules and direct operators to current, consolidated safety regulations.
