Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This directive requires operators of Cessna 310 aeroplanes with serial numbers before 35392—unless fitted with hinge P/N 0824006-1 or -2—to have the outboard aileron hinge inspected at intervals not exceeding 100 hours TIS, using the referenced Cessna/FAA inspection documents. Owners/operators fund and arrange inspections, creating an incentive to install the exempt hinge parts or operate later‑serial aircraft to avoid recurring checks.
