Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

Operators of Cessna 310s with over 1,000 hours TIS and the specified bearing (P/N 4NBC612ZP) on the nose‑gear drive tube (P/N 0842120‑1) must inspect for bearing movement at intervals no greater than 200 hours.

The rule targets owners/operators and maintenance organisations to detect a failure mode linked to past incidents; it imposes recurring inspection costs and aircraft downtime, while leaving some discretion on inspection method.
