Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

What this does: This document officially cancels (retires) a previous safety rule called Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 210/64.

Who it affects: Owners and operators of Cessna 210 series aeroplanes that were repaired by Capricorn Aircraft Repair (in Thangool, Queensland) between 1985 and 1990.

Why it matters:

The original rule required a one-off inspection of these specific aircraft at the next scheduled maintenance check after 21 March 1991.
That inspection is no longer required because the safety concern is now obsolete (outdated).
If you were still following this old rule, you can stop—the requirement ended on 17 January 2008.
