Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This directive requires inspections and, if needed, modification of certain Cessna 210 (P210N/P210R/T210R within the listed serial ranges) because the turbocharger oil reservoir outlet fitting can crack and cause rapid engine oil loss. Operators must inspect before the next flight after 13 June 1985 and repeat every 25 flight hours until the modification in Cessna SB SEB 85‑11 (or FAA AD 85‑11‑07) is completed. It protects safety but imposes inspection, repair and downtime costs on owners/operators.
