Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This directive requires owners/operators of specified Cessna 210 aircraft to inspect bladder-type fuel cells using Cessna SIL SE 84-4, record the inspection in the aircraft logbook, and purge the fuel system if fuel cells show wrinkles or folds. It sets different timing and follow-up steps depending on whether the aircraft has been modified per Cessna SIL SE 84-9 Rev 1 (see Compliance 1–3). Owners/operators pay for inspections, purging and log entries; CASA issues the directive and Cessna guidance determines the technical steps.
