Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

What this means: Owners and operators of specific Cessna P210 aircraft must replace a faulty turbocharger oil return hose to prevent potential engine damage or failure.

Who is affected:

Cessna Model P210 aeroplanes only
Serial numbers from P21000001 through P21000164

What you must do:

Replace the existing turbocharger oil return hose with a new hose specifically designed for suction applications (the original hose couldn't handle the suction pressure)
Complete this replacement within 100 hours of flight time after 31 July 1979

Why it matters: The original hose was prone to failure under suction conditions. This mandatory replacement prevents oil leaks and potential catastrophic engine damage.

Technical details: The replacement must follow the procedures outlined in Cessna Customer Care Service Information Letter No. SE79-19.
