Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This AD requires a one-time inspection of the upper fuel‑reservoir fitting on specified Cessna T210s to verify the correct inside diameter, using Cessna Service Letter SE77‑38 (with SE78‑2 referenced). It applies to T210 serials 21061040–21061963 and older T210s that received P/N 1216407-series reservoirs from Cessna after 1 July 1975.

The check prevents fuel leaks, engine fuel starvation, or fire. It had to be done within 100 flight hours after 31 May 1978 and remains part of affected aircraft maintenance records.
