AD/CESSNA 210/23 - Hydraulic Pressure Line/Trim Tab Chain Interference - Inspection - CANCELLED

What this does: This document scraps an old aircraft safety rule that applied to Cessna 210 series aeroplanes.

The old rule: Originally issued in 1973, the rule required a one-time inspection to check if the emergency hand pump pressure line was interfering with (rubbing against) the elevator trim tab chain.

Why it's being cancelled: Since the inspection was a one-off requirement and all affected aircraft would have completed it by now, the safety risk no longer exists. The cancellation took effect on 10 April 2008.

Who it affects: Owners and operators of Cessna 210 aircraft, though in practice this simply removes a compliance obligation that has already been met.
