AD/CESSNA 210/17 - Front Seat Restraint Installations - Modification - CANCELLED

What this is: This document cancels a 1971 aviation safety rule (called an Airworthiness Directive) that applied to Cessna 210 aircraft.

What it used to require: The original rule mandated installation of upper torso restraints (shoulder harnesses) in the front seats of Cessna 210 aeroplanes that were certified (officially approved for use) prior to 1967.

Current status: Cancelled. This directive ceased to have effect on 17 January 2008.

What this means for aircraft owners: You no longer need to follow this specific directive. The requirement has moved to a broader safety rule (AD/GENERAL/74 Amendment 1) that covers shoulder harness installations across many aircraft types, not just the Cessna 210. You must comply with that general directive instead.
