Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

Owners/operators of specific Cessna 208-series aeroplanes (listed serial numbers) must, from 20 Nov 1987, follow Cessna Service Bulletin CAB 87-14 to take and inspect a fuel sample for primer particles. If particles are found, further inspections and repairs to the fuel reservoir/wing bays are required before return to service.

This mandatory AD affects only the named serial-numbered aircraft, places costs and downtime on owners/operators, and hinges on access to the referenced service bulletin and competent maintenance.
