Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This directive requires owners/operators of specified Cessna 208/208A/208B serial numbers to inspect the outboard flap support rib flanges per Cessna Service Bulletin CAB93‑11 and to install modification kits SK208‑109‑1 (left) and SK208‑109‑2 (right). Mechanically, it mandates recurring inspections until the modification is fitted, and fitting the mods cancels the inspection requirement.

Operators pay for inspections and the modifications, must track hours-in-service to meet deadlines, and must follow the SB’s repair steps if cracks are found to address fatigue risk to the flap support.
