AD/CESSNA 206/49 - Aircraft Repair - CANCELLED

What this does This document officially cancels an old aviation safety rule (called an Airworthiness Directive or AD) that previously required owners of specific Cessna aircraft to undergo a one-time inspection.

Who it affects Only owners of Cessna 206 series aeroplanes that were repaired by Capricorn Aircraft Repair in Thangool, Queensland between 1985 and 1990.

Why it matters The original rule required a one-off safety inspection at the next scheduled maintenance check after 21 March 1991. Since that deadline passed over 15 years ago and all affected aircraft should have completed the inspection by now, the rule is obsolete. This cancellation simply tidies up the aviation regulations by formally removing a requirement that no longer serves any practical purpose.
