Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

Owners/operators of specific Cessna U206/P206 serial numbers must carry out the maintenance/inspection called for in Cessna Service Instruction Letter SE 80-24 within 100 hours TIS after 30 June 1980. The work, paid for by operators, is mandated to prevent turbocharger anti‑rotation pin failure and possible scavenge/pressure pump loss. The AD prescribes the requirement while relying on the manufacturer’s SIL for technical steps, creating short‑term downtime and parts/maintenance dependencies.
