Who it affects: Owners and operators of:

Cessna Model TU206 aircraft with serial numbers U20603021 through U20603829
Older TU206 aircraft (serial numbers below U20603021) that have had fuel reservoir assembly part number 1216407 replaced with a Cessna-original reservoir since 1 July 1975

What must be done: Inspect the fuel reservoir upper fitting to verify it has the correct inside diameter, following the procedure in Cessna Service Letter SE77-38 (Figure 1). Operators should also consult Cessna Service Letter SE78-2.

Deadline: Complete the inspection within 100 hours of flight time after 31 May 1978.

Why it matters: Incorrectly sized fuel reservoir fittings could lead to fuel leaks, engine failure, or fire hazards.
