Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This AD requires owners and operators of specified Cessna 206 serial-numbered aeroplanes to inspect and, if necessary, repair or modify the aft tailcone assembly by following Cessna Service Letter SE72-29, making the manufacturer's instructions mandatory. Maintenance organisations and engineers who service those aircraft are likewise bound.

It updates applicability to reflect a later-production tailcone change, accepts earlier inspections done to SL SE72-3 where applicable, and places compliance costs on owners/operators.
