Plain English Summary

4/10 complexity

This airworthiness directive makes compliance with Cessna SL SE72-29 mandatory for all Cessna 205 series aeroplanes, requiring operators to follow that service letter’s inspections and corrective actions for the aft tailcone assembly. Operators (owners/maintenance providers) bear the cost and must obtain and implement the external Requirement Document.

The AD accepts inspections done under the prior AD issue as meeting Cessna SL SE 72-3, but otherwise delegates technical detail and timing to the referenced service letter.
