Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

Owners/operators of specified Cessna 188 A/A188B aeroplanes (listed serial ranges) must, within 100 hours TIS after 30 Sep 1980, implement the fuel-cap alignment and placard actions set out in Cessna Service Instruction Letter No. SE 80-59. This preserves correct flush-cap alignment to ensure proper fuel-tank secondary venting. Compliance costs (labor, parts, inspections) are borne by the owner/operator; the SIL provides the mandatory technical method.
