Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

Owners and operators of Cessna 188 “Agwagon” agricultural aircraft must inspect and, if necessary, repair the stub wing front and rear spars per Rex Aviation Technical Memo TM‑46, Issue 3. The mandatory work was to be completed within 100 flight hours after October 31, 1974.

This AD targets critical wing-to-fuselage structural members to prevent spar failure and potential wing separation during heavy, low-level agricultural operations.
