Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This directive requires owners/operators of Cessna A188 "Agwagon" agricultural aircraft to inspect the fuselage lower longerons near the main-gear attachments for cracks to prevent landing-gear or fuselage failure. It excludes aircraft with serial numbers ending in "T" and those already modified under an approved scheme. If an aircraft has over 1,500 hours, inspect within 100 flight hours and repeat every 500 hours thereafter; rules have applied since 1 September 1971.
