Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This CASA airworthiness directive legally requires owners/operators of Cessna 188 “Agwagon” aircraft to inspect the front main spar and doubler plates at the wing root/attachment-bolt area for cracks. The first check must be done within 100 hours’ time-in-service and repeated every 200 hours. It’s intended to detect fatigue cracking from agricultural low‑level operations that could lead to catastrophic wing failure.
