This AD requires owners/operators of Cessna 185 aircraft fitted with rudder bellcrank bracket P/N 0712309-4 to inspect the bracket’s top edge for cracks. Initial inspection is within 100 flight hours (counting from the last 1964-rule inspection) and must be repeated every 100 hours. It prevents rudder failure and potential loss of control.
