Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This mandatory Airworthiness Directive requires owners/operators of Cessna R182 aircraft to modify the nose-gear drag-strut attach fitting by blanking the bolt access hole with Cessna part CM 2692-32 sealed with Pro‑Seal No. 700. The change must be done before issuing an Australian Certificate of Airworthiness to prevent possible nose‑wheel attachment failure and ensure structural safety.
