Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This AD mandates owners/operators of the specific Cessna 182 airframes listed in the Requirement document to perform the actions set out in Cessna Service Letter SE77-11, and to complete that work within 100 hours time-in-service after 31 July 1977.

It matters because the regulator makes the requirement mandatory, costs and scheduling fall to the owner/operator, and the AD delegates all technical detail to the manufacturer’s Service Letter.
