Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This is a safety order (called an Airworthiness Directive) issued by Australia's aviation regulator for specific Cessna aircraft. It requires owners or operators of certain Cessna 182J and Wren 460 model planes (those with serial numbers between 18256685 and 18257313) to inspect and fix potential problems with fuel lines and cabin door latches according to the manufacturer's instructions (Cessna Service Letter No. 66-49).

Key points:

Who it affects: Owners of specific Cessna and Wren aircraft with the listed serial numbers
What you must do: Follow the technical instructions in Cessna Service Letter No. 66-49
Deadline: The work had to be completed before 1 August 1978 (unless already done)
Exemption: Aircraft that were already modified at the factory according to that service letter don't need to do anything further
