3/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires operators of Cessna 172R and 172S aeroplanes to perform a one‑time engine idle speed and fuel‑mixture check (specified oil temperature, idle stop, RPM 575–625, and mixture cut‑off RPM rise 10–50) and to amend the Pilot’s Operating Handbook and checklist per Cessna Service Bulletin SB01-11-02. The check must be completed within 10 hours time‑in‑service, recorded in the Aircraft Log Book, and any discrepancy entered in the maintenance column.
