Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This directive requires owners/operators of specific Cessna 172R aeroplanes (listed by serial number) to carry out targeted inspections and fix any flight‑control cable, trim, pulley or routing faults identified in the manufacturer’s service bulletins. It matters because the inspections and mandatory corrections are intended to prevent loss of aileron or elevator control; compliance must be recorded and some defects must be fixed before further flight.
