Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This directive requires owners/operators of specified Cessna 170/172/175 serial numbers to carry out the manufacturer’s corrective action (Cessna Service Information Letter SE82‑38/Rev 1) to fix a potentially dislodged roller in the right‑hand control‑wheel guide that can restrict control. CASA mandates compliance within 100 hours TIS after 30 November 1983; affected owners/operators bear the cost and must follow the Cessna instructions (the AD also references the related FAA action).
