Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This airworthiness directive requires owners/operators of specified Cessna 150/152-series aircraft (listed by serial number) to carry out the corrective action set out in Cessna Service Instruction Letter SE 83-18. Compliance must occur within 100 hours time-in-service after 31 January 1984 or at the next scheduled maintenance-release inspection after that date, whichever is later. The measure addresses a risk that improperly located aileron hinge-pin retaining split‑pin holes could allow pin migration or loss.
