Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Airworthiness Directive requires certain Cessna 150/152 series aeroplanes (identified by serial number ranges, now including Reims-built models) to have a flap follow-up cable clamp and associated hardware installed per Cessna service instructions. The mechanical change alters the wing flap operating system to prevent possible sudden unexpected retraction of the left wing flap. Owners/operators must arrange and pay for the modification and comply within the AD’s time-in-service deadlines; CASA enforces the requirement (see Compliance, Requirement, Background).
