This Airworthiness Directive requires owners/operators of Cessna 150/150F/152/152F aeroplanes fitted with plastic control wheels to inspect those wheels and follow the procedures in Cessna Service Letter No. 64‑8. Inspections must be repeated at intervals not exceeding 500 hours time‑in‑service.

Applicability:	All models fitted with plastic control wheels.
Requirement:	Action in accordance with Cessna Service Letter (SL) No. 64-8.
Compliance:	At intervals not exceeding 500 hours TIS following compliance with previous issue of this AD in accordance with Cessna Service Letter (SL) No. 64-8.
	This Amendment becomes effective on 30 July 2009.
Background:	This AD requires an inspection following reports of in service cracking and failures of plastic control wheels. The requirement documents for the inspection were Cessna Service Letter (SL) No. 62-44 and 64-8.As an inspection carried out in accordance with SL 64-8 supersedes the inspection required by SL 62-44, this amendment deletes SL 62-44. No change has been made to the compliance period for requirement document SL 64-8.
